Wow, we had heard good things about Sorella and I'm so glad we tried it out. From the time we stepped through the door, it was a great experience. The design is warm and inviting, with an interesting wall of photos and prints, moody lighting, and overflowing candles. Tables are arranged tight, but with enough space to hear your partner. Cocktail choices were interesting and tasty, I loved the Boulavardier. We decided to share two appetizers, the meatballs and the ricotta. Both hit our spots and got us ready for a main course. We shared the carrots and the Bolognese. The carrots were delicious and amazing with a little char and sweetness balanced with goat cheese and hazelnuts. The pasta was wide ribbons cooked just right covered in beurre blanc and topped with the meat sauce. I can't say enough. Yum!

Amazing Experience! We sat at the bar and Elina was our bartender and she was awesome. Food exceeded expectations and cocktails were so yummy! The owner even came by and checked on us...superior service! Great for a date night or girls night or just when you want great food!

Went there for our anniversary. First time eating at Sorella. Surprised how busy they were on a Thursday night. They said they are busy every day. Excellent service. They had a card congratulating us on our anniversary. Lots of people but it wasn't noisy like some other restaurants in town. Absolutely blown away by the Ricotta appetizer. Truly amazing. The carrots were sublime. Loved the meatballs very tender. I had the eggplant for my main course and it was fine but felt lacking after such amazing prior courses. Mainly tasted the breading and not much else. The olive oil cake was delicious. The executive chef came by our table and asked for feedback. Nice to see they are looking to raise the bar. Fun aside I saw written on a piece of tape by the chef "Every second counts". (From The Bear)

Was highly recommended to go here from several folks. Signage was not easy to see from the direction we were walking, but Google maps led us right to the front door. Gorgeous teal colored walls, upholstery & ceilings all matched. Tables were very close to one another. We ordered the Arancini and meatballs for appetizers. They were delicious! For our meals, we ordered the Bolognese and Eggplant Parmesan. The bolognese had cinnamon, another spice I was unable to identify, as well as some sugar. It made the sauce sweet like a Greek ziti, not traditional Italian Bolognese. My husband was thrown off by the addition of those spices and sweetness, so he didn’t finish his plate. I had the eggplant Parmesan. The crust was perfect, but the eggplant was undercooked, still very crunchy. Very off-putting as I had to really chew my dish. Both dishes were served with a creamy style sauce on the pasta with almost a mushroom flavor to it. Neat idea as it felt like I had ordered two dishes in one plate, but the sauce was really rich, so I could only eat about half the pasta. The portion sizes were great, and the pasta was cooked perfectly al dente. Dessert was very light and delicious, rounding out the meal as I was disappointed in the entrees. My husband had the house wine, which he liked, and I had check black tea infused cocktail with honey and lemon and a dark cherry. It was very good! All in all, I’d go here for appetizers and maybe dessert, but was not impressed with the entrees.

Food is delicious and the environment is pleasant. Nia always takes such good care of us and she is so friendly and courteous. Always smiling and she makes you feel happy to be at Sorella. Chef Tariq is very serious with his work. He is creative and demand perfection from his team which is well conveyed by the food. He is always checking on the customers and sincerely soliciting feedbacks for improvement. This restaurant is a true gem of Spokane. Highly recommended!

My fiance and I decided to celebrate her birthday at Sorella and couldn’t be more thrilled. Compared to other pasta options located in Spokane, Sorella takes the crown as our top spot. We indulged in some Arancini for the appetizer which had a wonderful, delicate crunch, and flavorful interior. For our entrees we had the “Alla Vodka” and “Lasagna” options. It should have been a dead giveaway that the Lasagna was a house speciality as it reads, “Limited Availability” on the menu. The creamy bechamel with house-made pasta sent this dish over the top. The only way to describe it is, ‘a dish worth traveling 30 mins out of your way for’. Thank you to our amazing sever, Kelsie, on providing excellent customer service and helping us celebrate a momentous occasion. We will be back!

We came here for our anniversary. Out wait staff was absolutely wonderful. We were greeted with a lovely card wishing us a happy anniversary, the gave us a little bubbly. We had the ricotta appetizer. Out of this world delicious. For dinner we had the Bolognese and lasagna. Portions were huge. (Lunch for a few days.) Ended dinner with a limoncello.
